Acquisition marks EWC’s 149th location and 14th Clean Express in Pittsburgh, with six additional locations planned by year-end

COLUMBUS, Ohio, and PITTSBURGH, Oct. 23, 2026 — Express Wash Concepts (EWC), one of the nation’s leading express car wash operators, today announced the acquisition and re-opening of a former Mach-1 Express Wash location at 6433 PA-819, Suite 2, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa. The acquisition expands EWC’s portfolio to 149 express car wash locations across six states, including 61 Clean Express Auto Wash locations.
The newly acquired location marks Clean Express’ 14th operating location throughout greater Pittsburgh, with six additional locations scheduled to open across the market by the end of 2026. The continued expansion strengthens the brand’s regional footprint while providing customers with greater access to convenient, high-quality express car washing.

For every new Clean-est Ultra membership purchased during the celebration, Clean Express will donate $10 to Waypoint Youth and Community Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to guiding youth toward purpose and independence. Waypoint provides a safe, empowering environment where young people can build skills, explore passions and grow into confident, contributing members of their community.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place Friday, Oct. 30, at noon, bringing together local community leaders, Clean Express team members and representatives from Waypoint to celebrate the new location.
